Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to Kalaburagi Bus – My 14 Hours Amazing Journey

By Nomad Patel | nomadpatel.in | Travelled On: 12th March 2026

Many people search on Google – Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to Kalaburagi bus ticket price, Aurangabad to Gulbarga bus time, Chatrapati Sambhaji Nagar to Kalburgi bus distance. But they get only timetable copy paste. No real story. So I thought, I will travel and tell real story.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is formerly known as Aurangabad. And Kalaburagi is formerly known as Gulbarga, also called Kalburgi. Name changed in 2023 but people still search Aurangabad to Gulbarga bus. So in this post I will use both names – Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to Kalaburagi – so you will get full information.

Two Bus Stands in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar there are two main MSRTC bus stands.

One is Central Bus Stand [CBS] in old city area, and second is CIDCO Bus Stand in CIDCO N-6 area.

If you want to go to Pune, Mumbai, Nagpur side, buses go from Central Bus Stand.

But for Beed, Dharashiv, Tuljapur, Umerga, Aland, Kalaburagi side, all buses go from CIDCO Bus Stand only. Many new travelers go to CBS and then they miss the bus.

So remember, for Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to Kalaburagi bus and Aurangabad to Gulbarga bus, you have to come to CIDCO Bus Stand, not Central.

CIDCO is around 8 KM from Central. Auto takes 100 Rs from CBS to CIDCO in morning.
