Namaskar and Jai Maharashtra friends. Today in my blog I will give you information about my journey on the Pandharpur to Buldhana route. This is a very long route and I have completed this journey recently in bus number MH 20 GC 2826.
Friends, as always I come to any bus stop half an hour before my travel time. On 21st March 2026 at Pandharpur Bus Stand the day had not yet dawned, so everywhere there was darkness. I reached Pandharpur from Alibag one day before. You can read my real experience of my Alibag to Pandharpur journey via Lonavala and Swargate.
My bus came out from the depot and then it came and stopped on platform number 6. This is my habit. I always reach early and I wait at the platform. It helps me to get a good window seat.
Pandharpur Bus Stand is one of the longest bus stands in Maharashtra. It is very long in size. The inner area is made of concrete. It is also clean and beautiful. I have seen many big bus stands in Maharashtra but Pandharpur is different because it is very long. At night, many buses take a night halt at Pandharpur Bus Stand. I saw many buses parked for night halt at Pandharpur. They were Solapur, Pune, Latur and Nagpur side buses.
My journey was from West Maharashtra, then Marathwada, and then further into the Vidarbha region. So this bus journey covers three big regions of Maharashtra in one single bus. This is the speciality of this route. You start from Pandharpur which is in West Maharashtra, you enter Marathwada after Tuljapur and Dharashiv, and you enter Vidarbha after Jalna and you reach Buldhana.

This point is very important for all those who ask in Facebook groups whether there is a bus via Barshi. My bus was not going via Barshi. It was going via Solapur. There are two different routes to Buldhana from Pandharpur. One goes via Barshi and another goes via Solapur.
My bus was via Solapur. So if you want to go via Tuljapur and Dharashiv, you should take the Solapur route bus. The bus I traveled was MH 20 GC 2826. It belonged to Buldhana division and it was a Buldhana depot bus. This is also important because generally the depot bus returns to its home depot and the driver knows the full route.

The road from Pandharpur to Mohol Bus Stand was good. Mohol Bus Stand is right beside the highway. You do not need to go inside the city. The bus stops on the highway side.
From Mohol Bus Stand, the second halt is to reach Solapur. Now my bus started running on the Solapur Express Highway via Lamboti village. Then it crossed the toll naka at Sawleshwar. The construction of Yermala Bus Stand is old. This bus stand has fewer platforms and it is also small in size. After that, via Terekheda and also via Golegaon, after a short distance, at Sarmakundi Phata, it stopped for food at 10:30 AM. On the side of the highway, you will find hotels in a line. This is a proper food halt.
On this route, I found four toll nakas. Beed was the seventh halt on this route. From Sarmakundi Phata, Beed is located at a distance of 35 kilometers. From Sarmakundi Phata, the distance to Buldhana was 270 kilometers. This board is written at Sarmakundi Phata.

Then it reached Manjarsumba Bus Stand, which is located right beside the highway, at 11:30 AM. From here, the Beed Bus Stand is at a distance of 21 kilometers and my bus once again got ready to reach Beed Bus Stand.
While running on the highway, it went via Pali village and also via Momin Pura Chowk, and then it reached Beed Bus Stand. The inner area of Beed Bus Stand is bad. The roads inside are made of mud. In the rainy season, passengers have to suffer a lot. At Beed Bus Stand, I saw a lot of crowd. At this place, my bus became very crowded and many passengers boarded.
After leaving Beed Bus Stand, now my bus starts to reach Jalna Bus Stand, which is at a distance of 102 kilometers from Beed.

It traveled on the Godavari River bridge and then via Wadigodri and then via Dhakalgaon, after that it came and stopped at Ambad Bus Stand at 2:10 PM in the afternoon on platform number 3.
From Ambad Bus Stand, Jalna was still 28 kilometers remaining and Buldhana was 140 kilometers remaining. Ambad Bus Stand has total eight platforms. This is a big bus stand for a small town.
From Ambad Bus Stand, the bus went via single road to Pimpalgaon village and then via Gol Pangari village. From Ambad Chaufulli, it came and stopped at Jalna Bus Stand on platform number 4. From this stand, Buldhana was 107 kilometers remaining. At Jalna Bus Stand, I saw very heavy crowd because of Sailani Yatra. Sailani Yatra is a big fair in Jalna district and due to that, there was huge crowd.
After leaving Jalna Bus Stand, the bus went via Jamwadi village and then via Waghrul village, and then it reached Deulgaon Raja Bus Stand. Buldhana Bus Stand is at a distance of 80 kilometers from Deulgaon Raja. It takes almost one and a half hours to cover this distance. As soon as the bus came out of Deulgaon Raja Bus Stand, it made its way through the market area and then it started running towards the highway direction.
While running on the highway, the bus went via Deulgaon Mahi village and then via Mera Chowki and then via Bhankheda village. After crossing all these small villages, my bus now made its way through Chikhli city and it reached Chikhli Bus Stand at 5:15 PM in the evening.
The area of Chikhli Bus Stand is very big in size. At this Chikhli Bus Stand, I saw blue color buses. Till now, from Pandharpur to Chikhli Bus Stand, I had completed 455 kilometers distance.

My Final Advice For You
If you want to travel from Pandharpur to Buldhana, you should take the 6:00 AM bus from Platform Number 6. It is a Buldhana division bus MH 20 GC 2826 going via Solapur, Dharashiv, Tuljapur, Beed, Jalna route, not via Barshi.
